Based on a year of describing beaches and adding photographs and locations, the tourist portal Rezerviraj.hr has made the first realistic list of 835 beaches on the Adriatic with a large number of photographs. At the end of the list, we went back to each beach and rated it with a score from 1 to 100 (the criterion was natural beauty), listed at the top those with the highest scores, and worked out the average by region on the Adriatic. 


According to this list, we concluded that the most beautiful beaches are in Southern Dalmatia with an average rating of 61 out of 100. In second place is Kvarner (58), followed by Central Dalmatia (56), Northern Dalmatia (51) and Istria (47).


Now we have done the same for towns and places. We extracted all beaches by town/place and their average rating, with the condition that the town/place must have at least two beaches, and for each additional beach we add 2 percentage points. So if a place has 3 beaches, another 2 points are added to make the list as realistic as possible.

The Most Beautiful Beaches in Croatia Are in Metajna on Pag and Žuljana on Pelješac.
