Gradski vrt Stadium, Osijek – capacity and sectors

At the end of the nineties (in 1998), the stadium got seats and floodlights. The first match played under floodlights was between Dinamo from Zagreb, and the player who scored the first goal under the lights was Davor Rupnik.

By installing seats, the stadium's capacity was reduced, and it sold out for the first time in May 1998, when the Croatian national team played a warm-up match for the World Cup in France. Our national team's guests were the footballers of Poland.

In 2005 the stadium was also renovated, when the lower west stand was reconstructed. This reconstruction added a roof over the box, and seats for people with disabilities were also adapted.
