Lovrečina beach is located in the cove of the same name, from which there is a view towards the mainland, to the town of Dugi Rat. It is a very popular beach, made of fine sand and enclosed by a natural cove. The beach is visited by many guests of the island, but also by sailors who love coves just like this one.

On the northern coast of the island of Brač, between the towns of Postira and Pučišća, lies Lovrečina Cove. The cove is known for its large sandy beach and valuable archaeological sites. It is right here that the remains of the former Basilica of St Lawrence from the 5th and 6th centuries are found. On the feast day of St Lawrence, 10 August, believers from the surrounding island towns make a pilgrimage here. The cove can be reached by sea, as well as by car.
The beach is named after the cove in which it is located, and is especially good for families with children, because of the abundance of sand and shallow water along the shore. Still, everyone will enjoy it and find something of interest for themselves.
The beach consists of fine sand and is characterised by a large shallow area, which is why it is so dear to children and younger visitors. It is surrounded by greenery, and at the back it is enclosed by a stone wall. The offer on the beach is suitable, so we can mention the restaurant located nearby, or the stands with fresh fruit picked in local orchards. When you have had enough of swimming and sunbathing, it might be best to sit down in the mentioned restaurant and enjoy tasty bites.
