The Lighthouse of St Peter in Baška Voda was built in 1884. It is located on the peninsula of the same name, which lies at the entrance to Makarska.
Near the lighthouse is also one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. The lighthouse is only about a 10-minute easy walk from the centre of Makarska. It is reached by a paved road, and it can be described as a single-storey stone building, surrounded by a stone terrace.
