Sv. Petar is a small peninsula in the center of Makarska. It was named after the church of St. 15th century Petra. Today there are only church remains. The peninsula today serves as a city park and beach. One smaller part of the beach is intended for naturists. A rocky naturist beach with concrete platoons is located 100m from the lighthouse.
