Kraljevica is a smaller town in Croatia, in the very heart of the Kvarner. It is an old coastal town with a rich historical and cultural heritage. It lies at the entrance to the Bakar Bay, in the heart of the blue Kvarner. This is the place where the roads from the interior first meet the sea.
The view towards the town is filled with the blue of the heavens, which at one moment merges with the blue tones of the sea, but is occasionally cut across by the green contrast of pine branches. Lush vegetation adorns the area around the town, while in the very centre of the town two medieval castles with a church dominate.
In the summer months the historical castles come alive as centres of numerous cultural and entertainment events. Apart from the castles, this area is adorned with many other buildings and monuments. If you visit our beautiful town, we are sure you will enjoy every aspect of it.
Many people visit Kraljevica, even if they do not stay overnight in the town itself. The town lies close to the larger coastal towns and is well connected. In addition, Kraljevica can boast large centres, a considerable number of accommodation facilities and campsites. The offer is enriched by many recreational activities, and nautical tourism is also well developed. Underwater activities along the coast are popular, thanks to the rich underwater flora and fauna.
