Makarska – Sumartin (Brač) Ferry: Timetable and Prices

The ferry on the Makarska – Sumartin (island of Brač) route connects the main coastal road near Makarska with the town of Sumartin on the eastern part of Brač. It operates all year round, the journey in one direction takes 50 minutes, and the line (state ferry line no. 638) is operated by Jadrolinija.

Currently (until 31.12.2026.) the off-season sailing schedule applies (1.1.–30.4. and 28.9.–31.12.2026.):

* The line does not sail on 1.1., 25.12. and 26.12.; on 6.4.2026. (Easter Monday) the departure from Sumartin is exceptionally at 06:00. In the low season (1.5.–28.5. and 14.9.–27.9.2026.) it operates 4 times a day, and in the high season (29.5.–13.9.2026.) 7 times a day in each direction – the full timetable by period is on jadrolinija.hr.

Tickets are bought online at shop.jadrolinija.hr, via the mJadrolinija app or at the sales points in the ports of Makarska and Sumartin.

Useful tips

A purchased ticket on this line serves as a reservation of a space for the vehicle at the desired departure time – it is enough to arrive about 45 minutes before departure.
