Zadar – Brbinj (Dugi Otok) Ferry: Timetable and Prices, Jadrolinija

Zadar (the port of Gaženica) and Brbinj on Dugi otok are connected by state ferry line number 434 of the Jadrolinija company. The journey in one direction takes 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Timetable

In the low season (1.1.–2.7. and 31.8.–31.12.2026.) the line operates 3 times a day from Monday to Thursday, and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 3-4 times a day. In the high season (3.7.–30.8.2026.) it operates 3-4 times a day, depending on the day of the week. An example from the low season (Monday-Thursday): from Zadar at 6:00, 12:00 and 17:00, and from Brbinj at 10:00, 14:00 and 20:30. The year-round price applies for the whole of 2026, the same in both directions; a car longer than 5 m or taller than 2 m pays 48,80 €.

Buying tickets

Tickets are bought online at jadrolinija.hr, via the mJadrolinija app, at the ticket office in the port or on board. This is one of the lines on which it is possible to book the chosen departure online in advance and secure a space for a car on the ferry.

Useful tips

• Because of the smaller number of daily departures and the longer journey, it is advisable to book a space for the vehicle in advance, especially in summer.
• Brbinj is one of the entry ports of Dugi otok; to continue the journey around the island you need your own vehicle or local transport.
