Preko (Ugljan) – Zadar Ferry: Timetable and Prices, Jadrolinija

Preko on the island of Ugljan is connected with Zadar (the port of Gaženica) by state ferry line number 431 of the Jadrolinija company. On some departures the ferry also calls at the port of Ošljak. The journey in one direction takes 25 minutes (30 minutes when the boat calls at Ošljak).

Timetable

The line operates every day, all year round, with a very dense schedule: outside the season (1.1.–31.5. and 1.10.–31.12.2026.) about 17 departures a day in each direction, and in season (1.6.–30.9.2026.) about 18 departures a day. The ferry calls at Ošljak only on selected departures: on weekdays from Zadar around 7:30 and 14:45, and from Preko around 12:15–12:30 and 18:40; on Sundays and public holidays from Zadar around 9:30 and 13:30, and from Preko at 8:15 and 18:40. The ticket price is the same in both directions and is valid throughout 2026; a car longer than 5 m or taller than 2 m pays 25,70 €.

Buying tickets

Tickets are bought online at jadrolinija.hr, via the mJadrolinija app, at the ticket office in the port or on board. On this line there is no advance departure reservation: a purchased ticket is valid for any departure on the day stated on the ticket.

Useful tips

• Because of the frequent departures (roughly every 60-90 minutes) it is not necessary to arrive much earlier, except at the busiest summer times.
• If your plan is to disembark at Ošljak, check whether that particular departure calls at that port.
