Vela Stiniva Beach – Hvar Island

On the island of Hvar, in the Vela Stiniva cove, lies the beach of the same name. It is beautiful, like other beaches on the island. Set in a natural environment, with only a few man-made structures. The best natural impression, or rather the respect shown for the rocky slopes, can be conveyed by houses specially built right into the rock caves. These are old structures, blended into the environment, which today are a real attraction for tourists. The beach itself is otherwise made up of larger pebbles, but has concrete platforms, finished with stone. Small boats of local fishermen are moored by the beach, which outside the summer season will go about the work they know best. That doesn't mean they don't know how to look after tourism – quite the opposite, when you come here you are the centre of attention. Everyone happily welcomes the island's guests and does their utmost to make sure the holiday remains a beautiful memory. Recommendation: Uvala Zečja, plaža Zavala Hvar, Jagodina Hvar.
