Zlatni Rt / Punta Corrente Park – Rovinj

Zlatni rt, also known as Punta Corrente, is located about 1.5 kilometres south of Rovinj and is one of the most significant park areas on our coast. The park-forest of Zlatni rt is closed to motor vehicle traffic (you can park your car at the Monvi car park ) and is an ideal destination for recreational visitors, athletes and nature lovers. On the way from town to the park there are several places to rent a bicycle, which is ideal for riding through the park. It's a good idea to start your tour by the sea on the newly renovated beaches and continue in the deep shade of the main trail that runs through the forest. We recommend a visit to Punta Corrente beach, as well as the rest of the coast, which abounds in rocky points and pebble coves suitable for children. The old quarry has been turned into a paradise for free-climbing enthusiasts. The Zlatni rt park-forest is rich in native plants and numerous bird species.

During the summer months, several catering establishments operate in the park where you can find refreshments or food, and at some of them you can rent beach loungers or pedal boats.
