Zadar – Mali and Veli Iž Boat: Sailing Schedule and Prices (G&V Line, Line 405)

The islands of Mali Iž and Veli Iž are connected to Zadar by a passenger boat line operated by the Zadar-based carrier G&V Line Iadera d.o.o. It is the state boat line no. 405 Zadar – Iž – Rava, on which the motor vessel "Anamarija" sails. The boat does not carry cars – passengers only, with a bicycle for an extra charge; the crossing from Zadar to Mali Iž takes about 55 minutes, and to Veli Iž about an hour and a quarter.

The boat calls in turn at Mali Iž and Veli Iž, then continues to Mala Rava and Rava. Before several public holidays in 2026 (5.1., 30.4., 3.6., 4.8., 17.11., 24.12. and 31.12.) there is also an additional direct trip Rava–Zadar, and on certain dates individual departures are omitted – details are in the official schedule.

Ticket Prices 2026

The seasonal price list is valid from 29.5. to 27.9.2026., the off-season one from 1.1. to 28.5. and from 28.9. to 31.12.2026., while the island residents' price list and the children's price apply all year round.

A bicycle is carried for an extra charge of 3,32 € per trip, and luggage 0,46 € per 10 kg; hand luggage up to 20 kg is free. The full price list is available at gv-zadar.hr/cjenik.

Buying Tickets

Tickets can be bought in advance online at gv-zadar.com (payment by card), at the sales point in Zadar, or in cash from a crew member or agent before boarding.

Useful Tips

• The line is a passenger line – it does not carry personal vehicles; for a car to Iž take the Jadrolinija ferry (line 435).
• On weekends and public holidays the timetable is different from weekdays – check the exact day of travel.
• The sailing schedule is subject to change, so it is a good idea to check it again shortly before travelling.
