Zagore is part of the municipality of Mošćenička Draga, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and the rural ensemble Zagore - Brseč brings together several hamlets. For visitors it is interesting as a picture of traditional life on karst pastures, tied to the Liburnian-Slavic community.
It consists of Zagorje, Stepča, Franeli, Krsonji and Ivaniši. Originally they were fused with karst pastures bounded by dry-stone walls, and later they stretched along a subsequently laid-out road that seemingly divided them into an upper and a lower part. Most of the buildings were once stone farm structures, dvori, with a prominent gable above a roof of plant material. Later residential buildings were built with a konoba below, an external stone staircase to a covered terrace on the upper floor, and a semicircular hearth, the tornica.
A protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5096.
