The medieval cemetery Mrki kamen lies north of the village of Grabovac, along the local road toward Lovreć, in the municipality of Šestanovac in Split-Dalmatia County. It is of interest to those who seek stećci, rare monuments of medieval burial custom.
The cemetery arose in the 15th century, on plots along the western side of the road. Ten stećci have been preserved: nine slabs and chests and one gabled one. The gabled one, measuring 138 x 95 x 56 cm, is decorated with a large volute on the western side, a volute and a hunting scene on the northern and southern, and spirals along the ridge, while the decoration on the eastern side is illegible. Five slabs have characteristic motifs: a rosette, a crescent, and triangular and zigzag borders, while the others are undecorated. In the dry-stone walls of the surrounding plots fragments of stećci can be seen, and the necropolis arose beside a Roman side road.
The cemetery is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-7037.
