The church of St Luke is located in the historic core of Dubrovnik, in Ulica sv. Dominika, opposite the apse of the Dominican church and at the foot of the tower of St Luke. It is interesting because it is an old church with a central dome, today converted into a gallery. It belongs to the city of Dubrovnik in Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
The free-standing, single-nave ashlar building has a dome and a semicircular apse. It is first mentioned in 1245. Its core is a pre-Romanesque church whose central dome with a drum later became the apse, because the church was enlarged on several occasions, last in 1787. After the French occupation it served as a warehouse, and today it is out of liturgical use and houses a gallery with a shop.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-6440.
