The Rector's Palace in Šibenik is one of the most representative secular complexes of the old town. It is located in Šibenik-Knin County and dates from the 15th century. It is interesting to visitors for its layering: Gothic, Renaissance and medieval remains are found in the same place.
Two perpendicular wings have been preserved. The south wing stands on the city walls, has a vaulted Gothic door with a statue of St Michael, and extends from a square to a polygonal tower in the east. The west wing leads from the square tower towards the main square. The south wing has a ground floor and three upper floors, the west a basement, ground floor and two upper floors. In the western range are the late Renaissance entrance portal, the remains of a Gothic portal, part of a medieval street and a Romanesque door in the basement. The square tower has tall windows and the coat of arms of the city rectors, and in a niche stands a statue of the city captain N. Marcello from the 17th century.
The palace is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-2028.
