Baroque Palace, Ulica don Krste Stošića, Šibenik

In Ulica don Krste Stošića in Šibenik, in Šibenik-Knin County, stands a Baroque palace from the 18th century. It is interesting as an example of an urban noble house with a deliberate, uniform facade.

The three-storey building is attached, for the most part on the east and also on the north, to a block of houses. It was built of large, well-dressed stone blocks, and the wooden roof is covered with a layer of channel tiles; on it are two dormers, and beneath it a stone gutter on consoles. The portal on the ground floor and the large balcony on the second floor are not on the same axis, which gives life to an otherwise rhythmic facade. On the ground floor is a multiply profiled portal with a diamond-point rustication motif, and the balcony with a balustrade rests on five large double consoles. The windows of the third floor are smaller.

A protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-2020.
