At Trg Ivana Pavla II 5 in Šibenik stands the Draganić Palace, a building that belonged to one of Šibenik's distinguished families. For passers-by through the old core it is interesting for its relatively well-preserved Renaissance facade.
The medieval building was reshaped in the 16th century. From earlier building phases two Gothic windows on the south facade remain. The palace has a ground floor and two upper floors, and is built of quality pointed ashlar. The wooden gable roof on the western side has a series of dormers, and beneath it runs a profiled stone gutter on consoles. The representative western facade faces the square by the church of St. John, with six rhythmically arranged windows on each floor. On the ground floor there are five doors, and a richly decorated High Renaissance portal with relief putti heads stands out in particular.
The palace is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-2011.
