The St. Peter complex lies on Crveni Vrh, east of the village of Savudrija, in the area of the Town of Umag, in Istria County. The site has been inhabited since prehistory, so it offers visitors a view of several layers of the past.
Today the complex consists of the remains of the Romanesque church of St. Peter, a single-nave building with a prominent semicircular apse, which later reconstructions turned into a barn. Beside it are farm-residential buildings, probably built where a monastery stood, which is mentioned in written sources in the 12th century, or an older church, as attested by finds of pre-Romanesque interlace sculpture. The complex also includes a lookout tower of early Baroque features, with a ground-floor addition from the 19th century, by which the complex was adapted for living.
The complex is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3664.
