Near the hamlet of Baradići in Seget Gornji, in the municipality of Seget in Split-Dalmatia County, rises a saddle-shaped hillock with layers of prehistory. It lies northwest of the little Church of St Vitus and is interesting because it brings together a settlement, a burial mound and a water source in one place.
The hillock runs from east to west. On its western part a smaller hillfort can be seen with a ring-shaped remnant of a prehistoric rampart. In the east is a large prehistoric dome-shaped tumulus, about 25 m in diameter and about 3 m high. Because of the clear spatial link with the hillfort, the two features are regarded as a single whole. To the west, at the foot, is a pond walled with dry stone and a landscaped approach. The site is dated from the 8th century BC to the 1st century AD.
The site is a protected cultural property, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3257.
Data: Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia (Ministry of Culture and Media), Open Licence; coordinates: DGU (centre of the settlement).
