In Bristivica near Trogir, in the municipality of Seget in Split-Dalmatia County, stands the church of St John the Baptist. Beside it is a cemetery with stećci, which gives a visitor an additional reason to stop.
The rectangular church with a square apse was built in stone in the 15th century, and was later rebuilt and raised. On the south side is a small chapel with a lean-to roof. On the apse the remains of a walled-up door of an older Romanesque church can be seen. The bell gable on the façade is of more recent date. The cemetery around the church has stećci with symbols of crafts. It was thoroughly restored after the fire of 1911. Inside, the walls are plastered and unarticulated, and the apse is closed by a late Baroque altar with a painting of the Baptism of Christ. Through two side arches behind the altar one enters the part of the apse that serves as the sacristy.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4700.
