On the eastern side of the Splitska cove on the island of Brač, in the municipality of Supetar, stands the parish church of the Assumption of Mary. To a visitor touring the cove it shows a neoclassical look from 1928 on the site of an older church.
The single-nave stone building has shallow side chapels and a bell tower at the rear. It was renovated in 1928 in neoclassical form, on the site of an older church. The stone is laid in regular courses, the side windows are tall and arch-topped, and the main façade is plastered, with a prominent profiled gable on corner pilasters. In the middle of the gable is an oval stucco with a floral motif and the monogram M. On the axis of the façade are a simple door with a double lintel and a profiled cornice, and a semicircular window.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3428. It is located in Split-Dalmatia County, and the period from the 13th to the 18th century is mentioned.
