The Church of St Peter stands on a raised plateau above the village of Dol, in the municipality of Postira on Brač. It is modest but old, and it is one of the interesting examples of pre-Romanesque building on the island.
The single-nave church has a semicircular apse and blind arcades in the interior, which places it among the pre-Romanesque buildings. On the façade is a bell gable with a bell from the 14th century. The church is a good starting point for exploring the village and the surrounding fields, and the view from the plateau reaches far. In the second half of the 19th century the church was plastered on the outside, so its original appearance is covered.
The church is a protected cultural property, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-6499.
