Cerineo Castle rises in Škrip on the island of Brač, on a field west of the old hillfort settlement, beside the parish church. Visitors can view it as the largest late Renaissance fortified manor on the island. It belongs to the municipality of Supetar in Split-Dalmatia County.
It was built in 1570 and has an elongated quadrangular ground plan with two towers placed at diagonally opposite corners. The larger tower in the southeast has a wide batter on the ground floor, and near the top a row of double brackets on stone thresholds, on which a parapet wall once rose. Both residential wings are covered with stone slabs and equipped with loopholes. Two inscriptions on the castle record renovations in the 17th and 18th centuries.
The castle is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1404.
