The Duke's Palace in Zadar has recently reopened (after restoration). More precisely, the opening took place on 10 February 2017.
It is the wish of the hosts that the Duke's Palace become a place where everyone who visits Zadar will be able to view exhibitions, listen to concerts, further develop our culture, and offer content enriched with the best that Croatia, Europe and the world have to offer.
Zadar is a historic city, rich in culture and tradition, and as such it contributes to Croatian identity and to our cultural heritage.
In order for Zadar to offer the very best to its guests, we have committed ourselves to restoring the Duke's Palace so that it can host events that will be interesting for guests, while also being instructive about our history and the history of the Republic of Croatia.
If you are staying in our beautiful city, be sure to make the effort to visit all the interesting places on offer. A city of such rich history and culture certainly has much to show. Today the people of Zadar can be proud of yet another historic monument – the Duke's Palace – now that it has been restored and opened to the public.
