The Arch of the Sergii is also known as the Golden Gate of Pula. It is one of the best-preserved ancient monuments in Pula. The arch was erected in the first century BC by Salvia Postuma, who had married into the Sergii family. It was set up in memory of three brothers of the Sergii family. The names of Lucius, Gaius and their sister Salvia Sergia are carved into the monument. The monument was made in the Hellenistic style with Oriental influences. The relief at the top depicts a chariot drawn by horses.
