Rural Ensemble of Čažin Dolac, Tugare

Čažin Dolac is a hamlet of the village of Tugare in the town of Omiš, in Split-Dalmatia County. For visitors it is interesting as a well-preserved part of a village in the area of the historic knežija (county), beside the parish church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Assumption, and the cemetery.

The hamlet has kept its historic settlement network and parcelation. There are extremely valuable complexes of houses and farm buildings here, and traditional building can be followed from the 18th century to the middle of the 20th century, with numerous architectural details. For that reason the hamlet has a cultural, historical and anthropological value that must be preserved.

A protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5208.
