The parish church of Sts. Cosmas and Damian is located in the center of the settlement of Sveti Kuzam, a part of Bakar, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. It is interesting to visitors because its present appearance is tied to two renovations.
It is single-nave, of simple rectangular floor plan, and at the altar end it finishes with a polygonal apse. The roof is a gable roof, slightly lower over the sanctuary. On the south side a square bell tower is attached, finished with a semicircular cupola with a lantern, along with a sacristy with a single-pitched roof. The facade is capped by a gently curved stage-like gable. Books mention a church on this spot from 1080, and it is known with certainty that in 1735 it was demolished and a new one built. The present state is the result of a renovation from the 19th century.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1995.
