Rural Ensemble of the Settlement of Lakmartin, Kornić

Lakmartin is a rural ensemble within the wider circle of Kornić, in the area of Krk, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. Here a visitor can view a traditional settlement with houses, homesteads and pastures.

The ensemble is part of the wider cultural circle of Kornić and documents vernacular building tradition, with house plots, homesteads and the economic organization of space in the village and along the arable land near the pastures. In the core stands the Baroque chapel of the Annunciation of Mary, also called the chapel of St. Anthony of Padua, built in 1727 with the permission of the doge and the bishop, with the help of eleven families of this area. The settlement dates from the 18th century.

The ensemble is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5333.
