The church of St. Peter is located in the historic core of Trogir, in Split-Dalmatia County. For visitors it is interesting for its Baroque entrance, richly decorated wooden ceiling and a well from the former monastery.
The building is of elongated rectangular shape, with a bell tower and a sacristy behind the sanctuary. The main facade is adorned with a Baroque entrance, and in its lunette is a bust of St. Peter, the work of Nikola Firentinac. The interior was Baroquized in the 17th century, when two marble side altars were added, one for the Virgin Mary, the other for St. Ignatius of Loyola. From the wooden main altar remain the statues of the apostles Peter and Paul from the same century, and a richly decorated wooden ceiling was also made. To the second half of the 17th century belongs the wooden organ case, bearing the coat of arms of the noble Marković family of Budva. South of the church, in the courtyard, a well with relief decoration is kept.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4307.
