The small church of St. Jerome stands on the northeastern coast of Čiovo, in the Miševac area, in the town of Trogir. It is small and modest, but interesting to those who like to find forgotten rural shrines, to which names from Trogir's history are also tied.
It was built in the 17th century as a single-nave building with a semicircular apse, of roughly dressed stone. The roof is a gable roof, covered with a layer of channel tiles. The facade has a new rosette window, and above it is a bell gable. On the outside of the north wall a plaque from 1646 is built in, commissioned by the Trogir historian Ivan Lucić; it mentions his aunt, the nun Jakobina, as the donor of the small church. Around 2005 the church was renovated: new entrance sills and a new rosette were installed, the interior was plastered, a new floor was laid, and the triumphal arch was restored.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code RST-247, rj.br.: 35/121-1964.
