In the inner historic core of Trogir, in Mornarska ulica, southwest of the church of St. Peter, stands the ruined Andreis Palace. It is of interest to visitors who want to see what noble houses looked like in a town inscribed on the World Heritage List.
It is a Romanesque-Gothic building from the end of the 13th or the 14th century, with a ground floor and two upper floors. Today it has no roof or intermediate floor structures, but the outer shell is undamaged, built of regular ashlar. The east facade has kept its original appearance, with Gothic saddle arches on the single windows of the first and second floors, separated by highly profiled cornices. The main entrance is on the ground floor, at the southern end, with a lunette and the coat of arms of the Andreis family, bearing a shield with vertical bands. The west facade is Romanesque. Inside, remains of lavish fireplaces have been preserved in the halls of the first and second floors.
The palace is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-6111.
