Above Čibača, in the western part of Župa dubrovačka, on the hill of Trapit, on a knoll called Križ, lie the remains of the Church of St Blaise. The place will interest those who look for hidden sites in the Dubrovnik hinterland and like to take in an area with a view of the surroundings.
The church was built in the 13th or 14th century, and in documents it is sometimes given the name Church of the Holy Cross. It was single-nave, with a semicircular apse and an added room on the north side. Of the cemetery beside the church, two graves are preserved today. The building was razed to its foundations in 1806, during the Russian-Montenegrin incursion into the area. In the 20th century a water reservoir was built around the surviving remains of the church and cemetery, so the site is now partly hidden by a modern structure.
The site is a protected cultural property, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4617.
