West of the harbour in Supetar extends the peninsula of St Nicholas with the local cemetery and the little church of the same name. A walk across it combines views of the sea with traces of antiquity and works by famous sculptors. It is located in Split-Dalmatia County.
On the north side, partly under the sea, can be seen the ruins of a large late antique complex with the remains of a white mosaic. The church is late Baroque, with an elongated square apse, and at its base is a medieval little church. North and south of the apse lie two early Christian sarcophagi with crosses in medallions and long crosses on the lids. In the cemetery are numerous tombstones from the end of the 19th century to the 1920s, carved by the Brač sculptor Ivan Rendić (1849–1932), and the mausoleum of the Petrinović family, the work of Toma Rosandić (1878–1958).
