The municipal building in Sutivan is part of the picture of the village by the harbour. It is interesting as an example of a public building from 1898 that is still an ornament of the harbour today.
The two-storey building is built of stone: regular ashlar is laid in horizontal bands, the floors are separated by profiled cornices, and the corners are emphasised by projecting stones. Behind the parapet at the top rises a stylised gable with volutes and plant motifs, bearing the words "Obćinski dom". The building belongs to historicism, and is adorned by harmonious proportions and skilfully made decorative details. It was built in 1898 for the needs of the local administration.
The building is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-3588.
