Church of the Holy Trinity, Nerežišća

The church of the Holy Trinity stands on a raised mound in the Nerežišća field, southwest of Jurjevo brdo, near Nerežišća. It belongs to Split-Dalmatia County. It is interesting because by its forms it is counted among the simple Romanesque buildings of the 12th century.

In the 17th century hermits lived beside the church, and later Poljica Glagolitic priests. It is a single-nave building with a semicircular apse and a barrel vault. On the façade a stone rosette and a transenna are built in, and at the top of the gable a stone bell gable. In the 19th century the façade was plastered, with emphasised corner stones and a semicircularly vaulted entrance.

The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4780.
