The church of St Peter in Nerežišća on the island of Brač is a Gothic building with an eye-catching façade, and inside it keeps a Renaissance relief. It is interesting to visitors because of its early bell gable. It belongs to the municipality of Nerežišća in Split-Dalmatia County.
The single-nave church has a semicircular apse and is built in regular courses of roughly dressed stone, with a roof of stone slabs. The door with a simple stone frame has a double lintel with a Gothic lunette and a relief cross in a medallion, and beside it smaller square windows. On the gable a Gothic bell gable with cornices of Romanesque profile stands out. Inside are a pointed Gothic vault and a masonry altar screen. On the altar is a relief of the Coronation of the Virgin with St Peter and St Paul, the work of the Brač sculptor Nikola Lazanić from 1578.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4453.
