The church of St Lazarus, also known as the church of St Joseph, is located on Čiovo in the municipality of Trogir. It is connected with medieval care for the sick, because people suffering from leprosy stayed beside it.
It was built in the 15th century as part of a Franciscan monastery, on a rectangular plan with an apse. It is built of regularly worked stone in courses, has a flat ceiling, a roof of curved pantiles and a barrel vault in the apse. On the main façade is a simple entrance and a rosette near the top. On the north side a bell tower with an open loggia was added. Inside are preserved a wooden Baroque altar of Our Lady from the 18th century, the southern altar of St Bonaventure, and wooden statues of angels from the chapel of Blessed John of Trogir in the cathedral of St Lawrence.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4562.
