Gašpina mill is located in Solin, beside one of the branches of the river Jadro, downstream from Šuplja crkva. It is a reminder that this river drove mill wheels for centuries.

In the Middle Ages the land along the Jadro belonged to bishops and kings. The mill was built at the beginning of the 18th century, around 1711, and since then it has been extended and repaired several times. The building thus survived water disasters and remained part of life along the river, in the immediate vicinity of Solin's famous antiquities. Most work was done after the great flood of 1885, when the river severely damaged the buildings.

The mill is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-7244.
