In Solin, in the Meterize area, stands the reception building of the former Solin railway station (Vranjic-Solin). It is of interest to those who follow Dalmatia's industrial heritage. It is located in Split-Dalmatia County, in Matoševa street.
It was built in 1902 beside the narrow-gauge Split-Sinj railway. It consists of a row of three stone buildings with a rectangular ground plan: a two-storey building with an attic and the single-storey waiting room and ancillary building. The stone was laid in regular courses and is more roughly worked. The roofs are wooden, gabled, with deep eaves, and covered with curved pantiles, Mediterranean tiles and Salonit. The openings are rectangular, wooden, with stone sills. From a covered porch both buildings are entered; the entrance to the upper floor and attic is on the north, and the vehicle access on the southwest.
The building is significant in the overview of industrial heritage from the beginning of the 20th century. It is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-6989.
