Southeast of the island of Vis, near the islet of Greben, on the seabed lie the remains of a smaller warship. The underwater site is of interest to the diving and maritime-history public, and belongs to the municipality of Vis in Split-Dalmatia County. The ship dates from the 18th or 19th century.
The remains are spread over an area of roughly 15 by 30 metres, at a depth of between 48 and 56 metres. On the seabed iron anchors and cannons are visible, along with various small objects, for example ceramic tableware, pieces of metal and wood. Part of the ship's equipment, as well as wooden remains of the hull, is hidden beneath the sand, so the site continues to hold the potential for new knowledge about navigation and warfare in the Adriatic in the modern era.
The site is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4.
