The remains of the former Krka hydroelectric plant, also known as Jaruga, are located at Skradinski Buk in the municipality of Skradin, in Šibenik-Knin County. They are remains of industrial heritage set in the natural surroundings of the Krka river.
The hydroelectric plant was built and put into operation in 1885. It was built for the electric lighting of Šibenik, which, thanks to its business partners and builders, Ante Šupuk, then mayor of Šibenik, and the engineer Vjekoslav Meichsner, received it before many European cities. Of the building today part of the walls remains, namely a smaller part of the front façade and a larger part of the rear wall, but the ground plan layout of the structure is still clearly visible.
The remains are a protected cultural good and are entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5516.
