The mills at Skradinski Buk are located in the municipality of Skradin in Šibenik-Knin County. Visitors are drawn by the blend of traditional building and landscape, because the mills were built on the sites of old milling places.
The complexes have typical rural stylistic characteristics, which is why it is difficult to date them precisely. According to historical data, the present complex came into being after the end of the Turkish threat, at the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century. The mills are a specific testimony to traditional life and economic activity up to the first half of the 20th century, with continuity inherited from earlier periods. A special feature of the complex are also its particular landscape values, which complement its monumental significance.
The mills are a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5431, in the category of secular architectural heritage.
