The Small Cipiko Palace is located in the historic core of Trogir, in Split-Dalmatia County, in Gradska Street. Visitors interested in the late Gothic and Renaissance in Dalmatian towns can see here a decorated façade and a courtyard with galleries.
The palace was created in the 15th century by joining a series of older Romanesque houses. Two late Gothic triforia are built into the façade, made in the manner of the Trogir masters Gojković, Groat and Račić, but only one of them is original. In the Renaissance period the courtyard was rebuilt with galleries on brackets, with stone parapets decorated with shallow reliefs. Above the entrance staircase is the main portal, the work of Nikola Firentinac, and beside it a profile of a laurel-crowned humanist, probably Coriolanus the Great. Later the building was altered by numerous small rebuildings, and it was restored in the 1970s.
The Small Cipiko Palace is a protected cultural property, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-4318.
