Jurandvor is a village in the municipality of Baška, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. For visitors it is interesting as an example of a rural settlement of defensive type, founded in the interior, away from the sea.
The settlement was founded in the 16th century by the arrival of inhabitants from the mainland, from the surroundings of Senj. The compact type of settlement, the distance from the sea and the proximity of arable land and pastures point to a defensive village tied to the livestock-farming and agricultural circle. It consists of the hamlets of Čubranići and Juranići. In the old core of Juranići is the so-called Jurin Dvor, after which the settlement got its name. The buildings are stone houses with a gable roof of channel tiles. The organization of space, with farm buildings at the edge of the settlement and in the surroundings, indicates an originally semi-urban type.
The ensemble is a protected cultural good and is entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-5503.
