The church of St. Lucy stands at the foot of Kastav, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, in the middle of the town cemetery. A visitor will be stopped by the neat Neoclassical porch, the stone angel heads and the Baroque sculptures at the entrance.
It is presumed to have been built in the 15th century, like most small churches in the surroundings, and it received its present dress in 1886 in the Neoclassical spirit, with a Baroque altar. A record of the renovation is carved on the facade. From the older building only the semicircular apse survived. The facade ends in a bell gable, and in front of it is a loggia on six columns with a gable roof and open soffit. The portal is placed between two arched windows, above which angel heads are built in. At the very entrance to the cemetery, reused fragments of Baroque statues are built into the wall.
The church is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-2207.
