Ploča-Vukov greb Archaeological Site, Zagvozd

The Ploča-Vukov greb site lies near the hamlet of Bartulovići, along the local Zagvozd-Grabovac road, in Split-Dalmatia County. It is interesting to lovers of medieval heritage because it preserves stećci with relief depictions.

It is a medieval cemetery from the 15th century, on which one gabled stećak and two slabs remain. On the gabled one a wide band runs along both sides, dividing the depictions into two units. On the northern and southern sides, at the top, a hunt is shown: a hunter and two stags, and below it a volute. On the northern side, above the hunting scene, the year 1649 is carved. The eastern and western sides are decorated with a volute, and the ridge with a spiral volute. The slabs are adorned with flowers, anthropomorphic crosses and wavy lines. Further west there is a prehistoric mound.

A protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-6172.
