About 60 meters east of Cape Plavac, near Krapanj by Šibenik, at a depth of 25 to 35 meters, on a rocky slope and a sandy plateau, lies an ancient shipwreck. The site is interesting to divers and researchers of underwater heritage.

The site has been partly explored. The cargo consisted of Eastern amphorae of the Dressel 2-4 type and Rhodian amphorae with stamps on the handles. The wreck is dated to the period from the second century BC to the first century AD. Beneath the sand, parts of the ship's structure and a smaller part of the cargo are still preserved.

The wreck is a protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-242.

Data: Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia (Ministry of Culture and Media), Open Licence; coordinates: DGU (centre of the settlement).
