Above Ljubač, in the municipality of Ražanac in Zadar County, rises the Ljubljana peninsula with Kosa, a natural ridge 90 to 150 meters high. It is of interest to visitors as a place where settlements and graves followed one another from the Iron Age to the Turkish incursions.
The ridge stretches about 4 km in a northwest-southeast direction. On the flattened summit stand two hillforts. Venac was inhabited in the Iron Age and the Roman period, has remains of ramparts and an Iron Age necropolis on level ground, while Ljubljana, on the far cape, was inhabited from the Iron Age to the Turkish incursions. About a hundred burial mounds are scattered about, while at the foot of Kosa sites from Roman and medieval centuries are found. On the cape of Ljubljana remain a medieval fortified town with ramparts and towers along the edge of the sea, the church of St. Mary with three apses, and the remains of houses around it.
A protected cultural good, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code Z-1335.
