Sveti Vid is a village beside Miholjice in the municipality of Malinska-Dubašnica, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. It is interesting to excursionists who like to recognise what the first settlement looked like and how it later spread among stone houses, a mill and a smithy.
The ensemble consists of a narrower core and its surroundings. The core is formed by buildings around the little chapel of St Vitus, and their features show where the settlement originally began: they are smaller, of rectangular plan, with a vaulted terrace and a gabled roof of channel tiles. The wider surroundings consist of stone single- and two-storey houses of larger ground plan, mostly placed individually. In the wider zone are an olive mill, a smithy and a structure of semicircular plan, probably for farm use. The settlement is linked to the 16th and 17th centuries.
The ensemble is a protected cultural property, entered in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia under the code RRI-0402-1976.
